Week 18 Gratitude for this Moment

Well, well, well. I feel as if life is passing at break-neck speed these days. Would you agree?

I entirely missed week 17 - and here we are approaching the halfway point of week 18. I can't seem to catch my breath these days - and the pollen is only partially to blame...

Last week, we held our first series of classes in our new, beautiful upstairs studio. (A huge thank you to Bob who slaved over spackle and paint).

The energy upstairs is divine. A wonderful, open space to move, breathe and be.

This week we launched a new schedule and we're busy preparing for our children's classes to start in June!

In the studio,  I have been fascinated to witness the changes that are occurring as our yogis transition from winter practice to summer practice.

Among other things, the extra warmth in the studio has both benefits and challenges. I love that!

We are meant to live our practice, adjusting the practice to suit the changing weather. Time spent warming up the body during the long, cold, winter has given way to a spring practice where the slightly warmer studio allows us to stretch more deeply.

In addition, we have been blessed by some absolutely wonderful gardeners at Thrive, and they have planted us the most beautiful little slice of paradise right outside our door step.

Each day as I water and tend our garden I remind myself that the mission of Thrive is to lovingly tend each soul that passes through our doors, and that each moment we get with our clients is a blessing.

It is important to us to remember, that the time we get with a particular student may be as fleeting as the cheerful faces of our pansies, and so these moments must be cherished - we must always give our best.

And we must always be grateful.

So, thank you.

Thank you.
